I've got an 06 400ex that's got an HMF sport series pipe, jets, k&n, and stage 2 rev box and was in the market for a new set of paddles and was wondering what my best bet would be for paddles I've ran AMS snad snakes and those were junk they didn't hook up at all and I've also ran a set of Gecko's they weren't bad but I was wondering what my best bet would be. I'm kind of leaning towards Skat Trak Haulers anybody have any other recommendations. Thanks guys.

I have Skat Trak Haulers and love them.  Sand Stars are always a popular choice.

I have a set of Geckos with only a couple rides on them for sale for 50 bucks if your interested.

if you're looking at haulers i'd recommend some 6 or 7 paddles if you're serious about drag racing.  if you just want them for a more recreational ride, you'll probably have an easier time finding 8 paddles if your on a budget or buying used.

i ran sandstars on my mildly built 400ex and i liked them alot... but then again i wasn't a drag racer.

Unless you have an extended swing arm I wouldn't waste the money on haulers. I have Sand Stars on my 700 and 660 and they hook up great.

I ran gecko's on my kfx400 with mild build and I thought they were great. I've used haulers before, they were great in a straight line but didnt like them otherwise. Gecko's are great all around dune tires. I still have mine that I would sell you if you like. They are on rims too, bolt up to your honda.

I wouldn't run skat tracks on my lawnmower, had a set that the paddles cam off on one tire, called skatass and they said it was because the rider was right handed and turned mostly in one direction and wouldn't do anything about them. So I bought what I consider the only true paddle tire there is,, STU's.  They work awesome and lasted for ever. At least get a paddle that the paddles are not vulcanized on, must be molded into the tire.
