I read on line last week  (oceanaheraldjournal.com ) that the State may acquire more property on Silver Lake.  The DNR  is hosting a public meeting Thursday, Feb. 11 in Mears.  Is anyone going?  It sounded like they wanted to add another boat launch with an additional 60 feet on Silver Lake.
