I haven't talked to Benny and Mike about it but I am pretty sure Mark Moser will be there defending his title and hopefully keeping the King trophy with the trucks---I am pretty sure Mike is done for the year but you never know :P I would love to see his Blazer whip that hill!

Now thats what I like to see, Ben simple and straight to the point!! Looks like its "on" for King of the Hill.
As a side note, what happened to all the "fast" VWs that used to run the hill, none interested in a little truck butt whooping??

There's not been a turbo VW, fuel VW, or turbo/fuel VW at all the last few years.

I guess they're scared. :lols:

I am stoked that Mike and Benny are gonna make the climb, unfortunately I am retired (for now)
I will say it will be a battle royal with the three track trucks that will be there and how much more exciting the hill climb COULD BE if some more got involved

Good Luck and be safe!

Now when the trucks can run a 145 ft. ( not the short one this year) under 2 seconds then they might have something as I use to run at to 2 second range all the time on the 145 ft hill with a little VW motor, and that was a few years ago and we had to start at the base not back ten feet. Seems like the hill has been between 100 and 125 the last few years. I hope they can sell some of that sand to the glass companies or else it will be to the fence in Two years and there will be no room to run. We can bail out the DNR by selling the sand as it closes in.

Well well, good to hear from you Mr. Soper, I miss guys like you running the hill. I would love nothing better than to have put together a hillclimb with all the fast stuff over the years. You, Randy Vsetula, Larry/Kristy Wagner, Reny Villemure, Mike Page, Ben Dozeman, Rich, even Earl with his truck. That would be an outstanding hillclimb for sure.
As a side note, did you miss not having any competition at the hillclimb Dave? I know when I ran it, it seemed like you were always the only guy in your class. I'm just curious.

no offense Mr Soper right but it did not look that fast!
like I said when you run the hill year after year you get dialed in so
if Page and Dozer get more passes they will figure out how to keep
the front ends down

Yeah your right those trucks have nothing on them superbad VWs. Ha ha ha, look close in the vids you will see that those 2+ second trucks are tripping the finish lights with their back tires.
