you know digger, no one will want to ride in your truck when you are done, they'll all just want to sit and admire it, looking good

It's a tin sign.  There was a time I had a stack of them, just kept one.

I've got a little more work done but nothing to exciting.  The frame is more complete, got the gas tank straps done, I always coat them with grease and slide a bicycle tube over them.  Works well for me.  Got the steering brace all mocked up and loosely in.  Took the rear axle hub bearings and races out.  Just getting more stuff around for some more coating right now.

Some more photo's.  Got my gas tank skid plate on tonight.  As far as I know these were not offered as an option on a civilian truck.  Not 100% sure but all I have ever seen are plastic ones.  All military trucks have the steel ones.  Got my steering box brace in from off road design.  I modified my original brace in front of the new one so I could have both.
