Yes. Its mainly the 4 stroke. I cant stay away. I am confident that we will grab some attention...either for being rediculously fast for a 4 stroke, or for the huge ball of fire it shoots when it explodes. The banshee will be the daily racer. You all know how often i change plans tho so we'll see. All i know is that i am NOT going without a bike for another summer. Gotta have 2 next summer to make up for this shitty summer.

Motor is on its way. 05 YZ450f. Gonna try the bike motor out. From what i am reading, stock they go as fast or faster than my YFZ motor went off the bottle. We'll see.

Wow, I didn't know the bikes made that much more power compared to the atv motor. I googled it and found 50 hp stock for the bike.

Just the motor and elec. from Ebay. I didnt get the one off atvdragracers. The guy ended up buying the whole bike. Seller wanted too much for the motor anyway.
I've tried calling my boy with the 250r motor a couple times Johan, but i still havent talked with him about it yet. I didnt forget.

Just a shot. I havent decided how big. I'll see what it pulls on the dyno and go from there. I'd like to be around 90hp. Guess what...The bike motors dont bolt right in. Its close, and not difficult, but we gotta change a couple things.

Just a thought.... A bike on a dyno would hit higher numbers then an atv since theres a lot less rotating mass.

Yes witti i would have to agree. I always thought they went off the crank. I dont know. We will find out i guess. I dont think the tranny i have will work because the whole motor is narrower, so i'll probably have to get it cut. The bike i rode back in the day would shift without the clutch anyway, but im afraid with the extra rotating mass it will put too much load on the tranny and not let it shift without the clutch, bend shift forks, etc. If i do get it cut, i'll prolly have Nelson Racing do it if he wants to. If not who knows. I havent thought that far ahead at this point. I'm starting with getting everything put together. I have to redo the swinger. The front sproket is about 3/4" inside of a YFZ. Where the pivot bolt goes through the motor is about 3/8 or so too wide on the bike motor, so we have to cut the pivots on the swinger to make the space in there wider. The pivot bolt on the bike is also a larger dia. than the yfz. The bottom motor mount lines right up atleast. I havent tried the head stay or the front mounts by the oil tank yet. Not difficult just time consuming. Hopefully this weekend we will have it in there.
